COACHING
My Services: Services
A GREAT INVESTMENT ON YOURSELF

Sometimes we don’t realize it, an investment on oneself is the best route to go. Successful people, athletes, and skilled professionals all invest in someone that can help them lead better, play great or simply become a better version of themselves.

Coaching empowers individuals to achieve their future goals through greater self-awareness, personal growth, and accountability. I work with individuals to identify conscious and unconscious thinking and behavioral patterns that stand in the way of achieving their goals. I call it; the secret code. A life issue embedded in our psyche that impedes our growth.  Through coaching, I help people in many areas of their personal and professional lives (e.g. to find new careers, achieve higher levels of success in their current career, to achieve better life balance, and to improve their personal and work relationships).

WHAT IS COACHING?

Mentoring and Coaching sessions are distinct in professional activities. According to Counseling Today, a coach focuses on empowering individuals to achieve their future goals through personal growth and accountability. Having a Coach is having an accountability partner. It’s allowing yourself to have someone to help you make meaningful projects. Coaching is a shorter-term method of 3-6 months.  Whereas, Mentoring, as I use it, is a technique that has two folds;

  1. Guide you to heal those issues, be consciously known or not by yourself, to identify that secret code that impedes your progress in life so that you can achieve your goals in life.

  2. To help you achieve, as a “project” a better version of yourself. This is more of a long term, often career-long, relationships or spiritual strengthening on your beliefs.

Mentoring can take from 3 month to 1 year of continued support.

Coaching, therapy, and mentoring are distinct professional activities. Focusing on developing personal and professional performance to achieve specific goals and has the added benefit of being external to workplace politics.

COACHING STYLE

Every Coach and Mentor has a unique style. Twenty years of soul searching and setting goals with my clients has aided me to define that balance between supportive and challenging you to achieve more than you think possible because I’ve seen the enormous possibility of people achieving a better version of themselves. As a coach, my role is to listen, be curious, ask powerful questions, lead you through thoughtful exercises, and provide a safe and confidential space so that you can achieve that personal growth and professional wellbeing that you desire.

In our sessions, we will define your goals and structure an action plan that will help you create lasting, positive changes so that you can achieve your objectives more quickly.

HOW DOES MENTOR/COACHING WORK?

1

Setting Up a Mentoring / Coaching Contract.

The coach and the client mutually determine the duration and frequency of meetings, depending on the desired outcomes. Coaching contracts are generally 3 to 6 months long. Mentoring can take from 3 to 12 months, an assessment every three months will be made to see where we are.

2

Assessment. At the onset of our coaching partnership, I will ask you to fill out inquiries to assess where you are in your life/career now and to better understand where you want to be in the future. Although the forms require an investment of time, it is essential to creating a productive coaching partnership.

3

Establishing Objectives. The success of any coaching contract is based on defining clear objectives. Objectives must be accompanied by specific and measurable goals or identifiable positive changes that are in alignment with your objectives. We will use these objectives to guide our sessions. So it is of utmost importance that you adhere to the goals that you set.

4

Weekly Meetings. Coaching sessions are typically 45-60 minutes each and scheduled 3 to 4 times a month. Sessions may be held on the phone, via video teleconferencing or in person. Each week the client establishes the desired outcomes for the session, and we work on these in a focused and productive manner. Upon request, I will take detailed notes of the session for the client to use over the week. The client will have unlimited texting capabilities with me, (from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM), and I will have 24 hours to respond.

5

Midpoint Check-In. At the midpoint of the coaching contract, I review the progress the client has made relative to the objectives.

6

Closure and Transition. The last session of coaching is designed to celebrate successes and design a plan of action that gives the client a clear path to achieving future goals. How do we set those goals? Journaling? And I will share with you a method of XII Sustainable Steps in "Achieving Happiness".
